How to Identify York Water Employees

If you encounter a York Water employee at your home or working in the field, they will be happy to show you their employee badge upon request. If someone who identifies themselves as a York Water employee will not show their badge, please call us immediately at 717-845-3601, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or after hours at 717-848-2984.

Suspicious Activity

The public water supply system is vital for many activities in our community. Although York Water’s systems have many built-in redundancies and safeguards, we all need to be on the look out for vandals, polluters, or others that may be trying to harm our water supply.

If you see anything suspicious around water supply facilities you should contact our emergency number or the Police at 911. If in doubt, call us out! We don’t mind responding to a false alarm!
