It’s cookie time! Each year, for 24 hours, York Water shifts our focus from water to cookies. It is during this time that our distribution center becomes the central hub for all regional Girl Scout troops to collect the over nearly 162,000 boxes of cookies they sold. It is a pleasure to support the Girl Scout experience – and all the cookie eaters in our area – year after year.

Today was “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” and we took full advantage to share what we do every day at The York Water Company with some exceptional young ladies from York Academy. Based on the questions asked during our time together, we are confident that these young ladies, and their peers, are sure to make the world a better place.

York Water is proud to employ a number of fantastic York College of Pennsylvania alumni and interns and support #YCPGives. We proudly joined the community and donated  to make a difference for current and future York College students.

York Water recently held a donation drive to collect items for Cheer Bags for homebound seniors at Windy Hill Senior Center.

York Water kept the 3,700 York County Turkey Trot runners hydrated on Thanksgiving Day 2023.

The WellSpan Mobile Mammography Bus was recently at York Water.

York Water’s Natalee Gunderson visited the York County Literacy Council’s Next Step Program to talk with the morning ESL classes.

York Water provided water for the hot and thirsty visitors at York’s local food truck event, What the Food Trucks.
