The York Water Company Welcomes Ashley Grimm as Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Secretary

The York Water Company (NASDAQ: YORW) President and CEO, JT Hand, announced today that The York Water Company welcomes Ashley Grimm as the next Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Secretary.

Ms. Grimm is a senior certified Human Resources professional and attorney with nearly two decades of experience in legal, human resources, government, and nonprofit industries. Prior to joining York Water, she was with the PA Department of the Auditor General as the Director for the Office of Human Resources & Office of Budget and Financial Management and held a similar role with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Ms. Grimm has also held various counsel positions in private, government, and nonprofit practice.

President Hand said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Ashley to our senior leadership team. Earlier this year York Water expanded our utility operations into Lancaster County, and we need adaptive and innovative professionals to continue leading our Company forward. Ashley’s diverse professional background, her familiarity with and commitment to our community, and her demonstrated experience with innovative human capital management, make her the perfect complement to our corporate leadership team.”

Proudly serving the community, Ms. Grimm is a Board Member with Olivia’s House, a member of the YMCA of the Roses Human Resources Committee, Counsel for the PA State Council of Lions Clubs, and a member of the York County Bar Association.

Ms. Grimm holds a Juris Doctorate from The Pennsylvania State University – Dickinson School of Law and a BA in International Business and Management from Dickinson College. She is an admitted attorney to both the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States Supreme Court.
